Quicksilver Maui Whale Watching Tour

A daily narrated whale-watching excursion during whale season (December–April). Spot humpback whales breaching, tail slapping, spy-hopping… often while cruising aboard a double-deck catamaran. Includes drinks and a hydrophone to hear underwater whale sounds.

Overview

Quicksilver runs several whale watch departures each day from Ma‘alaea Harbor (8:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 1:00 PM & 3:30 PM) during the whale season. The 2-hour tour is aboard a spacious double-deck catamaran that offers ample viewing, comfortable seating, refreshments, expert narration about whale behavior, and if available, a hydrophone so you can sometimes hear whale songs under the surface. If no whales are sighted, Quicksilver offers a guarantee for a return or next trip at no charge. Bring binoculars, camera, light jacket, and a hat. Alcoholic drinks are available for purchase.
