Overview

The Haleakalā Classic Sunrise Tour is Skyline Hawaii’s signature sunrise journey, spanning about 10 hours. You’ll begin early (pickup between ~2-3 AM), ride up to the summit of Haleakalā National Park to witness the first light, when the sky reveals vibrant color over the crater floor—once sacred to ancient Hawaiians. After sunrise, the tour includes a full sit-down breakfast at the Maui Tropical Plantation (with vegetarian, gluten-free, and light options) before returning you to your hotel. Warm layers, closed shoes, and sunscreen are recommended. Guides offer ecological and cultural commentary throughout. Weather at summit can vary (winds, cold, cloud cover), but the experience is rich whether clear or cloud-filled. This tour includes hotel or condo pickup & drop-off.
