For visitors who find walking difficult or have mobility limitations, the Limahuli Garden Cart Tour offers an alternative to the self-guided walk through Limahuli. Offered Fridays at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, this 1.5-hour guided cart tour uses a utility cart that accommodates up to 3 people (including companion). The route is designed to maximize the beauty of the garden while ensuring safety and comfort, with lap belts, hand grips, and guided narration explaining the native plants, ecosystem resilience, and cultural heritage. Pricing is the same as guided walking tours for adults, kamaʻāina, and members. Requesting this tour 30 days in advance is encouraged, and reservations are required.
