Step into the heart of Hawaiian musical tradition with Mele: The Hawaiian Music Experience, exclusively at the Maui Sphere inside the Maui Ocean Center. After checking in at 5:00 PM (at Seascape Restaurant), you’ll enjoy complimentary pūpūs (appetizers) and soft drinks until 5:45 PM (alcoholic beverages also available for purchase). At 6:00 PM the performance begins—helmed by Maui entertainer Eric Gilliom alongside talented performers Sanoe Elf, Kehulali Douglas, Gerilyn Hewahewa, and ukulele virtuoso Vince Esquire.
The show features breathtaking visuals—from Haleakalā to ocean depths—and incorporates audience participation with classic Hawaiian tunes like “Tiny Bubbles” and “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride.” Guests are also provided personal headphones for studio-quality audio in the intimate theater setting. This experience runs on Tuesday and Saturday evenings, offering a meaningful way to connect with Hawaiian culture, music, and artistry in a highly engaging environment. Space is limited, so arriving early (at or before check-in) is recommended.
