Overview

The Limahuli Garden Self-guided Tour lets you wander through gardens that preserve Indigenous food systems more than 1,000 years old, forests of native plants, and landscapes that connect ridge to reef. Located along Kūhiō Highway in Hanalei (Kauaʻi), this garden offers shuttle or driving access. Admission is $30 for adults (reduced to $25 with shuttle), $10 for kamaʻāina, and children are free with an adult. Comfortable shoes, sun protection, water, and insect repellent are recommended. Multiple starting times throughout the day make it flexible to fit into half-day itineraries.
